Communications Coach: Chia Siang Pio

Chia Siang Pio is a Public Service Commission scholar, and a graduate from the National University of Singapore with a Second Upper Honours Degree in History. Ms Chia is also a mother of three and juggles full-time work with raising her children while maintaining an active lifestyle.

After a short teaching stint, she worked in the Ministry of Defence’s Director (Policy) Office for seven years. She was also formerly a Deputy Director in the Incentives and Finance Division of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency. Leading a team of forty managers and executives, she headed the administration of the Skills Development Fund.

She has been an Associate Trainer with the Civil Service College since 2010. She has conducted countless writing courses, including in-house customised ones for public organisations such as Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Home Affairs, and as well as government-related institutions such as NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, SingHealth Academy and National Healthcare Group Polyclinics.
