Through practical strategies, real-world scenarios, and interactive learning, you’ll develop essential management skills and gradually grow into a leadership style that feels authentic, impactful, and uniquely yours.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand four key management practices for immediate application: one-on-one meetings, feedback, coaching, and delegation.
• Recognize the difference between authentic management and giving orders, highlighting leadership authenticity.
• Evaluate the importance of consistency in basic practices for building trust and accountability.
• Develop confidence to have emotionally challenging conversations about performance while fostering a supportive environment.

Learning Methodology

• Presentations, knowledge sharing, case studies, discussion, skill practice, scenario challenges and role playing. An experiential awareness of how simple management basics create meaningful leadership results. All small group practice includes demonstrations, reviews and retrospectives, so all attendees may give feedback and learn from each other.
• The workshop itself is a safe space to practice techniques which may feel risky for a new manager. Facilitator models appropriate levels of safety. Learners can absorb via observation of the class and facilitation methods, as well as via the workshop activities. 
• Encourage authentic introspection, to investigate leader’s fears, concerns, ambiguities and vulnerabilities around managing others. Encourage feedback and transparency in small groups and the wider cohort

A British-born polymath, Ravi studied Mathematics, French, and English Literature at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was fortunate to be guided by some exceptional teachers.
