He has held various senior leadership roles in Wincor Nixdorf; EMC and Alcatel Lucent where his focus is mainly in reducing Total Cost of Ownership, driving transformational initiatives and managing various Categories of Spend.

In his role as Head of Global Procurement for Wincor Nixdorf, Richard Ong has proven to be instrumental in the areas of strategy development, materials planning, supplier development, cost optimization and process improvements in both direct and indirect material procurement.

In his role as Head of Global Supply Chain Management for EMC, Richard Ong managed a diverse team of buyers, planners, Availability Managers, Category Managers and NPI managers across Asia Pacific Region.
