As a corporate trainer and HR Specialist, Mel has had rich experiences in designing tailor made curriculums that integrates with customer requirements and organizational goals. She has worked alongside industry experts, preparing and planning prototype programs where she has implemented, maintained and improved industry standards and competencies through constant research and client feedback.
She has also participated in learning & development research as well as sales & communication support to various logistics and marine organizations.
Having partnered with training providers for overseas training support, she has created competency based assessments for various training programs, which involved developing, supporting and facilitating training programs in non-conventional environments. When she was overseeing Rep offices, she has brought an average of 40 percent increase in sales turnover through training.
Other than training in-house staffs to meet organizational standards and requirements, she was also involved in “Train the trainer” programs by ensuring that industry compliances are being fulfilled. An avid reader and traveler, Mel has travelled extensively within Australia, North America, Dubai, South Africa, Indonesia and Malaysia to meet clients and complete projects through seminars, conferences and professional networking events.
