In writing the First Time Leadership book and interviewing 220 leaders from 37 countries, Daniel Lee came upon one realisation, that many team leaders want to create a team culture that works for them and their team, but seemingly do not know how.

This 2-day workshop will give any team leader the conscious know-how to go doing just that, and draws upon day 1 and 2 of his 4-day signature programme based on the First Time Leadership 3C Framework. 

In Day 1, participants will cover 5 essential leadership competencies that they must know well, in order to gain a firm understanding of what it takes to be an effective leader of oneself, and subsequently an effective leader of others.  

These 5 essential competencies are knowing what leadership really is, how leading others is an extension of how they lead themselves, that a team is a dynamic ‘entity’ requiring constant care, how one leads in any situation is more than just dependent on the situation, and that Trust is the basis of leadership.

Once participants have grasped these 5 essential competencies, they are then ready to go about creating the team that they want with 5 more additional competencies.

These 5 additional competencies will include knowing what it means to be seen as a leader in ‘middle’ management, why emotional intelligence is a leader’s superpower, the way they deal with conflict win the team, the right way to be an assertive leader, and using trust to influence and persuade their team. 

By dedicating 2 days, participants will walk out of the workshop having undergone an accelerated learning journey on what it takes to be a team leader that engages their team with effectiveness and enthusiasm.
