Finding Your Compass: Personal Empowerment for the Working Professional
All of us search for answers on how to be happy and successful in life. However, is it possible to be constantly at peace and strive to be our best Self at all times personally and professionally? What are the secrets? It lies in finding your Compass that moves you towards fulfilling your dreams and contributes to the betterment of the Self at the workplace. A successful team requires each individual to be able to handle things efficiently and effectively, whether you are the team leader, team member or the employer. In this workshop, there will be 3 major areas for us to focus on to building a strong & resilient team or organization. Such team would be quick to supporting collaboration or facilitating liaison internally and externally while leveraging one another’s strengths to reach the top of the game. One key point to remember is the empowerment of the Self, which enhances resiliency in handling work issues and tackling business challenges as the team or organization realizes its potential and achieves greater heights amidst intense competition. With higher levels of co-efficiency and co-dependency necessary for best practices, reaching targets or achieving key business objectives then could the team or organization attain success in the long run. The three major values to self-empowerment would compass self-love, self-acceptance & self-balance, which would in turn impact upon team or organizational resiliency. Remember that it all starts with the Self before there could be any team or organizational growth, success or transformation. It all starts from YOU.

- Self Love – To doing what you love and loving what you do. Sounds easy but how do you go about doing so authentically & listening to the Self.
- Self Acceptance – Knowing where you are, and what you need to do to achieve. Do you measure yourself by work performance, or personal attributes, or both?
What does your inner voice tell you about the level of internal happiness within?
- Self Balance – Mindfulness of the present moment. Create the best version of your innate capabilities. Internal conflicts vs external circumstances. Is it possible to balance your state of mind with constant demands & distractions from the environment & how?

Being fortunate to have a close-knit family, Jeannie believes that it is love that moves the Earth. Inspired by her late father, a man who would never say “no” to a neighbour in need, the naturally shy and introverted Jeannie decided to push beyond her comfort zones to bring love and joy to all she meets.
