Globally, workplace discrimination (racial, gender, and age-based) has been on the rise and is now in the spotlight. Although it is common, workplace discrimination should not be here to stay. Accordingly, many countries have enacted anti-discriminatory laws in the workplace. It is vital for one to speak up when they experience and/or witness discrimination. However, the barriers to breaking the silence remain.

This course is designed to empower individuals and organisations to recognise, confront, and eliminate workplace discrimination. It explores the concept of psychological safety, emphasising its role in fostering open communication where employees feel safe to speak up and share their experiences, addressing unconscious bias, and promoting diversity and inclusion. It is with optimism that we all can create a more inclusive and equitable workplace for all employees.
