Aventis Learning Group (ALG) hosted its first Trainer Appreciation Event at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel on 2nd April 2022. The event was organised to recognise and appreciate the trainers for their hard work and perseverance in facilitating successful training programs during the ongoing pandemic. A total of 46 associate trainers were present at the event and 13 of them were awarded Aventis Prestigious Awards in the two categories – ‘Long Service Award’ and ‘STAR Trainers Award’.
2. The Aventis Long Service Awards were presented to recognise and show gratitude to trainers who have dedicated a significant amount of time to Aventis. Among the five recipients, Dr Christopher Fong and Ms Emma Jarman-Jones were among the two recipients who have partnered with ALG for a minimum of 10 years. Mr David Goldwich, Mr David Kee, and Ms Sheila Wee were the other three recipients who have worked with Aventis for a minimum of 8 years.
3. The Aventis Star Trainer Awards were also presented to recognise and reward outstanding trainers who have excelled in the delivery and facilitation of training programs. The award winners were selected based on their stellar track record of excellent ratings and testimonials from their learners. There were a total of 10 award recipients in this category. Not displayed according to order, these were the recipients of the award – Mr Adrian Toh, Ms Angie Toh, Mr Anil Singh Sona, Ms Caroline Dawson, Dr Christopher Fong, Ms Erin Lee, Ms Maxine Teo, Mr Mark Stuart, Mr Michael Lee and Ms Sheila Wee.
Dr Christopher Fong, a proud recipient of awards in both categories shared, “It was a lovely and nice gesture that Aventis Learning Group organised this appreciation event for us, the trainers. I was surprised and happy at the same time when I received awards in two categories – Aventis Long Service Award and the Aventis STAR Trainer Award. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that we are being appreciated and being recognised for our efforts in conducting fruitful learning for the learners at Aventis.”
4. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Aventis’s associate trainers were not able to network with each other. This event provided the opportunity for trainers to network over a hearty lunch at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, with safe distancing measures in place.
Ms Carmen Yap, Customer Success Manager of Aventis shared, “The pandemic has accelerated many changes happening in the workplace. Aventis has had to push forth with many new initiatives in order to transform and adapt to the ‘new normal’ and to sustain the growth of the business. We are very grateful to our strong team of associate trainers, who have been avid supporters of our new initiatives. We felt that it is a good time to organise this event to extend our appreciation to our trainers for their continuous support, and also to reward each other for our endurance through the difficult times during the pandemic.”
5. ALG is committed to working closely with its trainers to bring in high demand and effective training programs to working professionals from different industries and sectors. With one of its key brand values in mind, ‘Mutual Respect and Trust’, ALG is dedicated to not only serving its clients well but also working hand-in-hand with its trainers to continue delivering successful training programs.
