Module 2 – Developing a Social Media Content Wireframe
Regardless of number of images or duration of the reel, each effective social media asset is carefully crafted to yield audience engagement. In this section, you will learn how to convert raw information and data into a wireframe which will then be used to determine the style and format for the media assets created.
Module 3 – Slide Area Optimization for Creating Social Media Content
While the default slide size in PowerPoint creates the impression that it is suited only for creating presentations, it can in fact be used to create social media content as well. This section introduces you to the common aspect ratios and content dimensions used in various social media platforms, as well as the tools to convert your slide size to create content for different social media platforms. You will also learn how to utilize the slide area to create content segments.
Module 4 – Create Vibrant Social Media Assets in Accordance with Corporate Branding Guidelines
Typography, colour, and the shapes used play as important a role as the choice of visuals used when creating digital media assets. Through case studies, you will be introduced corporate branding guidelines used when designing digital media in this section. You will learn how to apply Colour theory principles, typography resources, and typography formatting techniques to create captivating digital media assets.
Module 5 – Select, Create and Customize SmartArt Layouts for Wireframe Content
The wireframe content plays a huge role in determining how information is presented in digital media assets. In this section, we explore approaches for presenting wireframe content. You will also gain insight into suitable SmartArt layouts for presenting information and learn how to create, modify, and populate these layouts with text.
Module 6 – Apply Animations and Transitions to Social Media Content
When creating videos or story reels, animations and transitions can be used to either create emphasis to objects or as an aesthetic choice by serving as ambient effects. This section equips you to recognise the uses of different types of animations and transitions and select suitable effects to emphasize or supplement objects in the digital media asset.
Module 7 – Leveraging Media Resources to Create Unique Digital Media Content
Visuals play a huge part in social media – an eye-catching visual goes along way in engaging audiences. In this section, you will learn how to select and format suitable media assets from web-based resources for use in your digital media content. You will also gain insight on approaches to create and customize call-to-actions within your digital media asset.
Module 8 – Saving and Exporting Created Digital Media Assets
When saving and exporting files, it is important to note that each social media platforms has its own set of recommended file formats. The final section outlines the accepted media formats for different social media platforms and their respective file size thresholds. You will also learn how to export media files in other formats for different social media platforms.
