What is PMP certification?

The PMP is ranked as the top project management certificate on in North America by CIO Magazine because it demonstrates that you have the specific skills employers seek, a dedication to excellence, and the capacity to perform at the highest levels.

In fact, research indicates that employers will need to fill nearly 2.3 million new project-oriented roles each year through 2030. With demand for project managers at an all-time high, there has never been a better time to earn your PMP certification.

PMP certification validates that you are highly skilled in:

PMP Exam Outline (External)

To obtain PMP certification, a project manager must meet certain requirements and then pass a 230-minute 180-question PMP certification exam. The PMP exam was created by project leaders for project leaders, so each test question can be related to real-life project management experiences.

Fee is NOT inclusive of Exam. Learners will be required to register with PMI directly to take the Exam

Course Structure

The PMP® training is a 5-days course (35PDUs) includes content that spans the value delivery spectrum, including predictive, adaptive and hybrid approaches. We focus on three performance domains in project management:

People | Power Skills – 42%

Process | Ways of Working – 50%

Business Environment | Business Acumen – 8%

Upon Course Completion, learners will be able to gain the following abilities:

This course is designed for individuals who have on-the-job project management experience regardless of whether their formal job role is project manager, who are not certified project management professionals, and who might or might not have received formal project management training.

This course enables candidates to develop professionally, increase their project management skills, apply formalized and standards-based approach to project management, and seek career advancement by moving into formal project manager job role, as well as prepare for (PMI)® Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.

Dr Chan has had over 30 years of senior management experiences. He is an expert in international business management, management consulting, and organizational development. His highest role was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a US$3.2b integrated resort project. His corporate track record was to turnaround a conglomerate, during the Asian Crisis with US$14b debt, to becoming the second wealthiest company in Indonesia (2022).

He has trained over 10,000 junior, middle and senior managers in transformational & adaptive leadership courses throughout Asia. A regular speaker at regional and international seminars, forums, and symposium on agile project management, innovation leadership, holistic entrepreneurship, etc. He conducts organizational behaviour & leadership, innovation & agile entrepreneurship, global strategic management, managing strategic risks and projects, and operations management modules at bachelors, masters, and doctorate levels. He is a visiting professor to 15 universities in Asia during the past 20 years.
