This module will equip you with knowledge of the latest global sustainability reporting framework and guideline. It is relevant to companies that are considering reporting, within the Annual Report, or as a separate standalone Sustainability Report. During the course we share case study examples, both local and global, and provide guidance on how to implement the guidelines in practice. Our training is based on our depth of hands-on expertise in producing award-winning sustainability reports.

• Understood the role sustainability plays in managing a business long term, and how reporting helps in the overall management of sustainability.
• Gained introduction to elements of a good sustainability report using the GRI’s five step process: Prepare, Connect, Define, Monitor and Report and prepare you to coordinate the sustainability reporting process. The steps include:

1. the process of engaging stakeholders • defining your material issues
2. collating and disclosing the relevant issues
3. consolidating the report in a manner consistent to the business’ overall strategic direction
4. monitoring the process on a regular basis

• Additionally gained understanding of improved and increased reporting of climate-related financial information with Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) aspects.
• Acquired the fundamental understanding on putting up a proper sustainability structure in the respective businesses, identify and define the ESG risks and opportunities most key to the business, and in which to disclose in the annual report.
