Corporate Lunch and Learn Program
A Lunch and Learn program, as the name implies, is a seminar or training session that takes place at a business during lunch breaks. Some organisations will provide a catered lunch (always a favourite among employees), employees can bring their own lunch, or the presenter will supply lunch. In any case, the concept is simple: everyone shares a meal and learns something new!
Lunch and Learn events are often referred to as "learn at lunch" or "brown bag" program ("brown bag" refers to the way that people traditionally packed their lunch for work). Each session is usually between 60 to 120 minutes long. They are often voluntary and have a less formal feel than a scheduled training program or a seminar because they take place during lunch.
