Dr. Christopher Fong
Chris has a distinguished career in strategic leadership and coaching that spans over 2 decades. He was appointed National Fellow to the Singapore Ministry of Social and Family and advised the total capability framework of the social service professionals to include mentoring sector leaders and those in the leadership pipeline.
In addition, he was the Principal Researcher for the nationwide study on fathers at the workplace. His findings have impacted government and business organisations to review their current pro-family and work-life friendly policies. Chris has also trained sector leaders in multicultural issues in cross-cultural marriages and clinical case formulations from a multicultural perspective. He earned his Doctorate Degree in Professional Studies(Practice Research) in 2015 and is also a member of the prestigious American Psychological Association (APA). As a strong advocator for practice-based research,
Chris contributes actively by speaking at international conferences and is a thought leader on multicultural and diversity issues and its impact across organisational matrix and businesses. His evidence-based framework that measures culture has since been published and taught across various universities. Dr Makarand (Mak) Tare
Mak is a PhD qualified in Human Resources and has been a C-Suite HR Executive with more than 30 years of working experience in various industries in an international setting. He worked in Pharma, FMCG, Manufacturing, Advertising, & Service industry and in different countries largely in India, Australia and Singapore covering Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Region. He brings along deep knowledge and expertise across the full HR lifecycle which includes, teaching, research, coaching, mentoring, publications, and corporate roles. He is both hands on as well as strategic and have led organizational change management, M&A, closures, downsizing and restructuring and growth stages of the business.
Mak enjoyed a progressive, meaningful and successful career in the HR function and was most recently the Chief HR and Talent Officer of Asia Pacific at McCann Worldgroup. In his leadership capacity, he had always played an active role as a change agent to help organizations transform and adapt to the ever-changing world to earn his credibility and a seat at the table.
Mak has a genuine interest for people and his philosophy is to add value to people’s lives. He lives up to what he strongly believes in by imparting his knowledge and experience through continuous contribution to Human Resources fraternity. He is also an active public speaker in many key HR related events and conferences.
